Airplay only works directly after reset for D-2

    Update: I contacted Audio Pro's support, and they were very quick to acknowledge the problem with Spotify, arguing it's related to Spotify using AirPlay 1 instead of AirPlay 2. 
    Could be true, because my C5, which only got AirPlay 1 works just fine…

    They're promising a workaround to be released soon, so I'm looking forward to that (and will add a new comment once it works…).
